今や、材となる綿花と蚕の繭玉は、日本国内での入手が困難ですが、
変わらずに昔ながらの材と製法を守り、蒲団を打ち続けています。
共に、歳を重ねた方々には、懐かしい抱き心地があります。
今の、若い世代の方々には、新鮮で感動すらあるかもしれません。

Oriemon began retailing and
manufacturing futons
from pure cotton and floss silk.

These are very hard to find in Japan nowadays.
However, we continue to make futons with the
same material and manufacturing methods
as in the past.

For those of us who have grown old,
it almost has a nostalgic feeling of comfort.

For the younger generation,
it may even be fresh and also exciting.

Pure cotton and floss silk are carefully selected
from all over the world, and from them,
the best quality futons are made
by the most seasoned craftsmen.
